it’s a cup of tea

large steaming mug in hand, he shuffles over towards the table, paying mind to the sloshing of the tea with every step he takes. he prays to the high heavens that he doesn’t spill another scorching drink on him, because contrary to popular belief, he dislikes being sent to the nurses office. he would never intentionally hurt himself just to crack a few jokes here and there, which is why he eyes the large cup in his hand all the way from where he bought it to the closest table he came by.
"mission complete,” he chimes in a singsong voice, sliding down into the chair without a care as to if he’s occupying someone else’s table or not. the seat was open for the taking, so he took it. it’s pretty solid logic to him, and he hums in content as he moves his mug closer while he leans down to gently blow on his drink. it’s only when he finally tips his mug for a sip does he grimace. he asked for honey. there’s no honey. and he really doesn’t feel like leaving his mug unattended to get any... which is why he thinks its fate that he sat across from someone. “hey,” he says sheepishly from his still hunched over position across the table, “do you mind asking them,” he gestures with his thumb towards the counter, “if they can lend us their honey. like... the entire bottle.”
