Dammit, I’m sorry!” Gaige ran to the dragon’s side, looking her over to make sure she hadn’t gotten hit. “You just startled me, and the things that looked like you on the planet I used to live on usually tried to kill me...shit. I mean, it was just a BB pellet, but...did I hit you? My aim’s not the best...” She was really hoping she didn’t just accidentally hit this stranger. A dragon would be really unfortunate to aggress like that.
