Was it fun to be a cricket?

Sometimes, yes.  I loved being able to fly, hop around and make music by rubbing the edges of my wings together.  More than any of that, I loved being away from my parents at last.  Of course there were some not very fun things, too, like being too small to do a lot of things I used to take for granted, being swatted at or almost squished.  But overall I would say I enjoyed my time as a cricket.
