     “  hey, jaesuk. i have a question .  ” it’s one that’s been weighing on robin’s mind since he took on his current case way back in february. an affluent man, found dead in his home of carbon monoxide poisoning, with the only hints toward foul play being a broken pipe in the basement and testimonies from neighbors and loved ones about the man’s relationship with his young wife. robin knows that the wife did it, but she’s continued to evade arrest with strong alibis and enough lawyers in her pocket to prevent robin from doing anything to catch her. and it’s driving robin mad. “  it’s about my case. if you have a second .  ”

‘how is she?’ yubin asks softly as the other enters her office. a client had gotten angry with one of her girls. if there was one thing yubin wouldn’t stand for it was clients crossing the line with her workers. she operated under a strict moral code. she looked out for anyone who worked for her, ‘i made some calls.’ she taps her fingers against the rim of her glass, ‘this isn’t the first time he’s been angry with the girls he buys. we’ll have to strengthen our background check process. i don’t want this happening again.’ she takes a long sip before sitting her empty glass back down on the desk, ‘he’s going to have to be dealt with. not only did he injure one of my girls but he didn’t pay her. i won’t let this slide.’

      “ c’mon, minji ! show me what you’ve got ! “ the redhead dared the other, wanting to test her fighting skills. sammy was quite quick when it came to take off the zip hoodie that she had been wearing. cracking her knuckles and rolling her wrists to warm up, she flashed a cheeky grin while waiting to see what minji’s first move would be. after all, she had no idea what the other female’s level was when it came to fighting.

               duckie doesn’t like talking to strangers, especially without minhyuk there to hold his hand, but sometimes he has to. like now. he’s lost his phone, and this is the last place he remembers having it. he can’t call any of the invincibles for help, obviously, but his parents will kill him if he doesn’t find it. okay, they won’t, but he’ll likely be grounded for the month. ❝ uh... excuse me, ❞ he says shyly, and the way he fidgets as he speaks makes him look a lot younger than the fifteen year old that he is. ❝ i think i lost my phone around here somewhere... have you seen it...? ❞

                 𝕀𝕋 ℍ𝔸𝔻 𝔹𝔼𝔼ℕ 𝔸 day since he crossed borders. thankfully, it was nearly dark out. the sun just set then, no wonder he wasn’t feeling to perky. his small nose twitched as he sniffed the air around him. foul. yet, there was a scent that caught his attention. he hadn’t bothered thinking he looked out of place, or perhaps in costume as he stepped out of the dank smelling alleyway. he followed that scent instead, curious. found it. a small grin crossed his painted lips and he reached for the figure. ‘ you, ’ he called, ‘ i want you. ’
