“ ’Peachy Passion’ and ‘Crimson Thread’ have both been to the beach a few times. However I, as myself, have not. I think ‘Lovely Heart’ has a beach trip soon...”

just listened to dead outlaw for the first time
did I understand what was happening? not really
did I like it? yes
crimson thread is devastating despite having no clue what is happening and then the whiplash to dead (finale) was a jumpscare ngl
also Millicent’s song is in 3/4 I think so the waltz opportunities are bouncing round my head (I may make a separate post abt this)(it’s also going on the home alone musicals karaoke playlist(that is definitely NOT a chrome window with like 17 YouTube tabs open))
Even a fleeting moment with you is time well spent.
Our worlds expand
Visions blur
Paths reconvene
and make me secure
The earth aglow
basking in the moonlight
eyes glistening with stars
but only you in my sight
Almost out
Tripping on my feet, the ground rustled as I fell on the fallen leaves. Letting out a breath briskly, I hoisted myself up, my hand gripping the wooden bench beside me, fingers brushing against the cool wooden surface. Looking up, I stopped.
Feeling my breath hitch, I wallowed in the sensation of my throat contracting as I suck down the air and gulp. In that moment, I was too distracted to be befuddled by how I was suddenly hypersensitive to the humidity of that summer day for the first time in three years. A slight groan escapes my mouth as I try to find words to explain this racing pulse. The moment I saw them, I knew. I was dyed in blue, but bathed in red.
She was clutching onto him, and that image burned into me like they were under a spotlight. The rest of my vision blurred. Leaves fell from the Autumn trees and danced around them like flower petals. The familiarity was disconcerting, I hadn’t expected to feel like this again, when I had believed that I had been rid of these feelings years ago. I remember staring at them a year ago, still as close as ever, in photographs, and feeling alright. So why was it, that suddenly, with him walking by her side metres away from me, making my heart dip?
She was as beautiful as ever, her tanned skin, golden, seemed to fit perfectly with the red and orange of Fall. She wore a white dress, with white stockings, white heels, white, white, white. If I blinked, she looked like she even wore a veil, her smile glowing through it like a meteor waltzing through in the vast emptiness of space, illuminating the world around her. Her long, brown hair bouncing as she walked. Step, by step, it bounced, and bounced.
And there he was, smiling gently, as gently as ever. I saw it. My heart leaped up. Almost out.
And along with my heart, I fell again.
THE CRIMSON THREAD
A quirky demented love story, that offers glorious gore with the simple use of a red string. A disgusting good time that will put a smile on any horror fan’s face!
