It took a little while parsing out who was speakingsometimes, if the hands were giving their own commentary or if they weretranslating for Shari. This should havebeen obvious though, why would the hands even call Stray that, never mind the‘dearest’ adjective? The next step ofhis thought process was; Lupin?
Lupinus - a genusof flowering plants in the legume family, though not as often consumed assoybeans and other crops by humans, the seeds were still edible. The flowers were also quite a sight to behold, though the relationship to wolves was currently up for debate. Shari was calling him a flower? Lupin-Lupine,canis lupus? That one seems a bit more likely, and thethought makes the skeleton to quirk his mouth into a faint smile. Wolf-like?
“Most won’t let wolf-like beings walk alongside them, Shari.” He drops the title this time around;his normally monotone voice, however, was tinged with amusement and warmth. It’s not like he hadn’t been mistaken for onebefore, a big reason why he switched to conjuring floppy ears when skulkingaround as a canine. But…He doesn’t mindit; Lupin. “However, if that is what you wish to call me, how can I refuse?” His chest feels warm, affection colouring his tone.
