For a moment, Udo closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. Should he be absolutely amused by her bluntness or just annoyed for her poor choice of words? Thinking wasn’t even needed, he had already made up his mind: he liked that one.     ❝ Very happy, Maleficent. Thank you for your input. Now, if we could all take each other’s hands for a little prayer, that would be wonderful. ❞     Now Udo was simply messing with her, the smile on his lips giving it away.

“You need to rest.” the command is given in a soft voice as the Queen peered down at her closest friend with concern in her eyes. “The children are all resting, everything is fine, you should REST.”

“Do you think - do you think we’ll get to go back?” Emma inquired quietly, voice soft so as not to disturb the silence that surrounded her and the majestic woman sat beside her. She HATED the unknown, and right now, stuck in the place she was technically born in but had no recollection of, she was surrounded by the unknown.

She could always tell when Maleficent was holding back on something, probably not wanting to hurt Aurora’s feelings or because she disagreed with something said. And Aurora could tell that despite the front she put up, Maleficent was just slightly bothered by Aurora’s newest decision. “Well, one tiny thing will change - but nothing else!” She wouldn’t necessarily call marriage a tiny thing any other time...

“ don’t laugh.  it’s not funny. ”  he’s got an ice pack to his head,  mostly because someone handed it to him.  it’s just like him to survive a battle completely unscathed,  only to injure himself doing something utterly idiotic.  for the vine ---- or whatever the kids are saying,  these days. “ i thought friends were supposed to be sympathetic. ”

totally  not  about  to  cry  over  this ,   nope  no  way.  alskdjfllkdj  thank  you  so  much ,  this  is  so  unbelievably  sweet  &.  I  genuinely  don’t  have  the  words  to  convey  how  much  it  means  to  hear  this.  I  have  so  much  love  for  this  dumb  vampire  and  I’m  just....  so  happy  that  it  shows??  I  just  want  to  do  her  character  justice  more  than  anything.  thank  you  so  much  again!!  ♡

comfortable   enough   within   his   skin   ...   under   her   gaze.   lie   does   still   form   across   his   tongue.     pressed   against   clenched   teeth.      “  uh  ,   no ?  ”      the   tone   of   voice   with   which   her   question   has   been   posed   is   his   safety   net.       he’s   not   met   with   brute   anger.                    or   disappointment   at   the   hour   which   he’s   climbing   through   her   daughter’s   bedroom   window.   (   more   like   crashing   through.   )   it’s   concern.   the   kind   shown   on   a   daily   basis   when   he   stumbles   into   her   kitchen  ,   hunger   etched   into   his   skin.

"  the   front   door   was   locked.  ”      on   the   defense.   he   shifts   the   blame   to   a   new   development.   locking   the   door   at   night  ,      after   a   sweep   of   the   grounds  ,      had   been   his   job.              the   nights   when   going   home   hadn’t   felt   like   returning   to   his   father’s   shop.      “  and   i   wanted   to   check   on   mal   first... ?  ”
