This week’s Females of Metal Friday is Britta Görtz, Vocalist for the now retired German thrash metal band Cripper. Founded in 2005, they released 5 studio albums with their final album being released in 2017. Britta’s growls and screams were a powerful part of the band’s sound. Although she’s not performing with Cripper any longer, she’s also a vocal member of 2 other bands since 2020, Hiraes (2 albums 2021 & 2024) and on 3 singles (2020 & 2022) for Chaos Rising.
One of my favorite things about doing these weekly posts is researching these artists, and when I find out about their other projects. Here I thought Britta was retired with the end of Cripper only to find out that she’s been performing with other bands. What a treat!! 🥰🥰
