These air fryer steak bites with mushrooms are a quick and flavorful way to enjoy tender pieces of steak with earthy mushrooms. The air fryer cooks them to perfection with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, all seasoned to perfection.
Ingredients: 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces. 8 oz mushrooms, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. Cooking spray.
Instructions: Preheat your air fryer to 400F 200C for 5 minutes. In a large bowl, combine the steak bites, sliced mushrooms, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes if using. Toss everything together to coat evenly. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the seasoned steak and mushroom mixture in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches if your air fryer is small. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the ingredients halfway through the cooking time for even browning. Adjust the cooking time based on your preferred steak doneness 8 minutes for medium-rare, 10 minutes for medium. Once done, remove the steak bites and mushrooms from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your delicious air fryer steak bites with mushrooms!
