What I read when I need a break from this all.. hmm.. I had to think about it for a while. But few comes to mind. First 'That's How I Know' by allwaswell16. I love funny animal characters in fics. Second is 'Since I've Found You' by Rearviewdreamer. That's my comfort fic that I keep going back to. And third is 'If Tomorrow Never Comes (We Had Last Night)' by FallingLikeThis and Rearviewdreamer. This just makes me laugh.

Louis woke up on the morning he was meant to volunteer at the Feed the Homeless program at St. Mary's church hoping for an opportunity to give back a little to a city that has given him everything he could ever want. Little did he know, there was one more great thing waiting there for him; a boy with radiant green eyes in a weathered jacket and a beat-up backpack slung over his shoulders.

Louis accepts the call without bothering to look at the caller ID. Only Zayn would be a big enough asshole to call him at two in the morning. This fucking better be important. “This fucking better be important,” Louis greets.

On the other end of the line comes a soft giggle. “Li, you don’t usually curse. I don’t know what’s gotten into you, but I like it.”

Yeah, that’s not Zayn. Louis sighs, his anger melting into resignation when he realizes that it’s some poor bastard probably drunk dialing his ex or something. “Sorry, mate. Think you’ve got the wrong number.”

I have no one else to scream about Louis so I hope it's okay I come screaming in your ask box. LOUIS IS SO PERFECT!!! I love his reactions, his facial expressions, just everything about him! He does his job so well and I love seeing him. I just love seeing him!!!!!

HE’S SO PRECIOUS!!!!!!! he’s so sweet to every contestant even if he doesnt like them and he gives real advice and not just criticism!!!!! and he’s so accepting and loving of every one and makes everyone feel so comfortable and he’s such a good mentor!!!!!! i love him so much!!!!!

I was looking through the fics I've read and I only read two fics this month (I haven't read anything for quite a while), but both of those fics made me so happy that I want to rec them both! First one is 'Until' by allwaswell16. It had everything I wanted to read, it also made me cry and laugh so there's that. The other one is 'an honest mistake' by YOU! I already left a comment on the fic but it made me laugh so much. If feeling down just read it and feel better :D

Hi! You might have answered this before but I'm curious. What is the one fic you are most proud of writing? And why? Hope you have a good day :)

Okay, I just asked my beta which fic I was most proud of because I didn’t know. LOL. So we talked about it and decided probably this one:

When the Sun Won’t Let You Sleep

Four years ago, Louis Tomlinson left the UK to live on an Antarctic research station for reasons best left in the past. He’s carved out a life for himself on the ice and has dedicated himself to his research, his friends, and especially the Halley VI research station. He’s less than thrilled when he learns that Harry Styles, a glaciologist from another base who once broke his heart, will be coming to Halley, and he’s definitely unprepared for the upheaval Harry brings with him.

I think I’m choosing this one because I had such a passion for it. I built and wrote a world for these characters, and I found a story in the midst of it that fit with them so well. It was difficult to write at times because I was trying to balance writing about grief in a character who was running away from it, but I’m really happy with how it came out in the end. When I began researching for this fic, I knew almost nothing about Antarctica or the people who work there, and the more I learned, the more the story began unfolding for me. The ice and the cold and the light and the darkness just really wove themselves into the story, too.  It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had writing a fic. It’s definitely not one of my more popular fics, but the comments people wrote me on this fic made me feel so appreciated for writing it.
