Interim Review - Part 1
Yesterday I presented my thesis design project as it is in its current state, with 5 weeks of the project remaining. This set of drawings shows the plans, sections and an exploded axonometric of my scheme.

Interim Review - Part 1

Class Crit Review
Some crit that I received from my class for my street photography finals was that they don't necessarily link together, as I have three that are people walking and two that are deciding more interesting. It was noted that the ones of people walking weren’t really creative, and I’ve been encouraged to go back over my shoots and see if I can find any images that match a more interesting motif. I will also do another shoot, with looking for oddities specifically in mind.
Reviewing the Crit Session
The crit session has been done! Time to review what the LOVELY! PREVENT people said.
They thoroughly enjoyed all the work that was presented to them by all groups of students which was nice to hear! Upon talking with the client and getting feedback from them (not the static kind!) they told me that my original idea of doing a training session based on radicalisation wouldn’t work for the target audience I was aiming for as children wouldn’t understand the complex nature of radicalisation, however, this cloud has a silver lining ( I’m talking real silver here not that valueless Silver Plated stuff!) as they said it would be a good idea to focus on the bullying side of becoming radicalised since children understand bullying more than radicalisation, this would allow me to target a 10-12 year age group as opposed to the original 12-25 age group as what I really wanted was to create something that would help children who are transitioning from primary school to secondary school, which is a very stressful and confusing time, (it was for me anyway, not sure about anyone else.) They seemed genuinely interested in this idea as there isn’t anything like this in place for kids at the moment and that they are really looking forward to what I can come up with. Let the River of Ideas floweth!
