Temporary Highs
World turning upside down.
I grab the bottle,
I grab the weed,
I grab the paper,
then I twist in between.
I grab a cup,
I fill it up,
till it overflows.
I puff, I sip.
So when the tears flow,
I won’t know.
I call my “man”
to get rubbed on.
To forget what’s goin on.
Do these things really numb the pain?

Not too into dc myself but this is important for dumbasses to understand
I like how every time some anti-woke media like The New Norm, Mr Birchum or Chip Chilla releases-the internet tears to shreds by making yaoi or yuri in response to it as a way to spite the creators. I’m betting Critical Drinker doesn’t talk about his movie-oops-I mean “proof of concept TV show pilot” cause he doesn’t want to be next on the chopping block.
And yes it came out and it’s everything he’s against and yes he doesn’t talk about it.
In an attempt to understand the other side of the isle I decided to watch The Critical Drinker’s review of Mickey 17.
While it was the usual trite, review slop made to farm outrage and appeal to his base, there was one note I found interesting. The drinker conflated Marshall for a simple Donald Trump parody. I think this is a gross oversimplification of how Bong Joon Ho succeeded in presenting a proper picture of fascist leadership. He’s stupid, loud, rambles, and obsessed with image. However, he also frequently presents key factors of fascist ideology, such as in the dinner scene and his utter disdain for the Mickeys. In doing so he is technically a caricature of Donald Trump, but only so much as Donald Trump is a caricature of a human being.
I'm seeing a lot of push-back against Critical Drinker now. Although I never watched the guy, I was able to get an idea of what he was about pretty early on.
I think it's a good sign that this push-back is happening, as it shows that real critical thinking isn't dead. However, the fact that he was even popular to begin with is an illustration of how people tend to conflate contrarianism with intellectualism. And there's always going to be Critical Drinkers as long as we don't make an effort to separate the two.
The BBC killed Doctor Who with woke ideology.
This is NOT Star Trek!! || The Critical Drinker react
So, we all made fun of Star Fleet Academy. Well, guess what? It’s much, much, much worse than we thought it was.
