As much as you might hate to admit it, seeing a cane toting loonie who should actually be in jail wasn’t the worst thing for you. Sure being without a real weapon made you an easy target but... That can’t be a serious problem right?

There was so much injustice in this city right now. So much conflict, hate, fear… it was hard to keep track. Korra had seen that hate first hand… that broadcast from the White Fang, the hate campaign led by the original citizens of the city and even those who had been brought here against their will, just as she had.

She’d had a rather bad run in with one of those. Zeno Bell, the lightning demon who’d scorched and bruised her skin with everything he had and more. The one responsible for killing all of those innocent people…

The one who made her feel like it was all her fault.

It was, after all. She’d failed to save them. And now, she was licking her wounds, so to speak. Rejecting her friends and affiliates… why would they want to be around a failure like her anyway? They deserved better, someone who could actually succeed.

So when the red-haired stranger approached her, she cast a glare up at him from where she sat. “Come to gloat?” She snapped. Had he seen what happened? He’d clearly see the burns and bruises upon her arms as she continued to change the dressings. “Look buddy, I don’t know you but if you’ve come to tell me how much of a failure I am, just get it over with. Not that I don’t already know, because I do. I’m well aware.”

taste in music/literature

Obviously he loves the classics. Classical music and soothing tones are pleasing to him and he loves legends and myths and fairy tales. That’s not to say he won’t give newer things a try, he will, but he does have his preferences.

Incidentally, he can play a few instruments fairly well, but he has fallen out of practice.
