I have (metaphorically) run face-first into a brick wall of my own creation. I have #ADHD, which basically means that my brain requires external stimulation to function normally. And it turns out that my brain has decided that solid yarn isn't stimulating enough to look at, regardless of what I'm doing with it. Which is really unhelpful, since I planned to make the next two #KittyCouches with solid yarn from my stash. I'm hoping that having really good stuff to listen to while I work (like @ordergooddeath's latest video, which you can see on my screen in the background) will help my brain Deal With It. The base of the second of the #KittyCouches - the Blue Couch pattern - is complete! It's basically a crocheted mattress at this point, and it just would not photograph well! I couldn't use my nice light or the top and side wouldn't both be lit, but the light without it destroys the color grading! (Full disclosure, I had to shunt the "warmth" setting all the way down in Instagram's photo editor to get the color true to life.) But! I got a semi-decent picture and I'm hoping that adding the back and arms and ruffle will make it easier to photograph this blue monstrosity. I doubt it, but I hope. . . .
