but ovulation occurs seperately from the blood-shedding, cramping uterus thing? sorry for ruining the joke or w/e but with the menstruation thing the part with the eggs happens about 2 weeks before the release of blood and stuff i just wanna clarify this bc its a common misconception

as i understand it, ovulation is when the egg says "hello friends i am here" and menstruation is when the egg says "goodbye friends i am gone"

so the joke still works cuz you could think of the egg being released from the body as your uterus "presenting" you with the egg

crockertech Thank you and hugs are okay!! Fyi she's not abusive or anything and she's not a bad person (quite the opposite!) she's just very manipulative sometimes but at least she's honest about it. I didn't mean to mislead you or anything ack it probably sounds a lot worse than it is;; I just grew up with this stuff being the norm and am just now picking up on it oops
