okay so

we went out for yakitori last night right? (which was sooooooooooooo good btw)

and the last dish they brought out was chicken gonad. Which, it was the family I'm staying with, me, and three other Americans, none of whom knew what the dish was, which was HILARIOUS. (They knew it was something "icky" because of the way Daughter of the house and I were laughing, but we wouldn't tell them what it was until after they'd eaten it.)

sidenote: it was actually pretty good? I didn't like the consistency, it kind of had the same texture as tofu or overcooked mushrooms, but the flavor was really good

anyway so they all ate some, we told them what it was, BIG LAUGHS all around and one of the women actually really liked it so she had another piece and everyone was sort of teasing her about it good-naturedly, mostly saying that she was turning into a savage wild woman and her boyfriend had better watch out

and the punchline of this long and rambling story is that the joke I didn't make was you'd think her boyfriend would be thrilled at her willingness to have balls in her mouth which makes it more a blowjob joke than a boner joke I guess
