Gotta love being in the hospital, for post-surgical recovery, & the nurses/doctor continuously implying that they REALLY WISH YOU'D GO HOME NOW!

It truly makes you feel valued as a patient… 🥲👍

We're taking you off of injectable pain meds, not because we're worried about your low blood pressure, but because WE REALLY WANT TO DISCHARGE YOU.

How are you feeling this morning? Oh you're in terrible pain, that's too bad cuz we WANTED TO DISCHARGE YOU TODAY.

EDIT: Apparently I'm making things confusing by getting my social worker/counselor involved 🫢 ~oh how dare I, a lowly patient, try to advocate for myself~

UPDATE: Guess who developed an abscess (& went home with it because the team chose not to do any imaging before actually discharging them & then had to come back in 4 days later via the ER & had to wait 5+ hours to be properly re-admitted) 👋😀
