It's all in the planning

Those of you that have known me a while (and I'm referring to the past few years) will know the way my writing process works.

I wing it. 

I'm not good at plans, which is usually why things spiral, but I will leave myself little notes to continue the story.

Think I've outdone myself now with this beauty.

*need transitiony bit before they shag each other's brains out.*

I might have to make this chaptered. 

Damn.

Thing is, I'm at 4.5k and the BIG thing hasn't happened yet. Also, the first half could fit a different prompt. 

So ... yeah. 

I really wanted this finished today. Why am I such an idiot?

In other (non Haikyuu) news

I opened up the final chapter of my OF after a month and a half 

and

I still like it.

I feel I should be crashing.  I usually do after finishing a fic I've been invested in, especially if I'm tired and now have to face up to life outside writing.   Not that there's anything awful about reality, but the rain is tumbling down (and grey skies sent me spiralling down a few years ago) I have the mundanity of the everyday to attend to, and usually that's enough to set me straight to the grey zone. I used to ricochet between the highs of wriitng and finishing, to the lows of having finished and waiting ... not for reviews particularly ... but for the next idea to appear. 

But today I feel as if I'm floating back to ground. I don't know why.

Perhaps I'm just happier.
