Cronos parasite engine　Painting completed!

It's been a while since I last posted a wip here, but with the help of a local hobby shop, I've finally finished it! Thank you to everyone who responded to the wip!

I was born in a country where miniature painting wasn't popular, so I painted without really knowing the different styles and classifications… I aimed for creatures from "Silent Hill." I wanted them to feel alive, not like corpses.

Technically, I drew inspiration from Japanese realistic garage kits and tank plastic models. I really wanted to incorporate charred pipes and rain streaks. As a result, I think the finished piece ended up looking quite unusual for a Warhammer build. I wonder how it will appear to everyone else.

Building a base means you can't peek underneath anymore—just kidding! But I have a vision, so I'm exploring how to make it happen across a wide range of genres! I don't know when it'll be ready, but I'll post an update when I can. Thanks for watching!

Cronos Parasite Engine wip… I was aiming for skin with nerves that could be seen through it, but at this point it just looks like someone who has been whipped, so I'm thinking about how to layer colors to create a transparent skin.

The clerk at the Warhammer store told me to use

LAHMIAN MEDIUM

and apply it thinly and repeatedly. I'm a beginner, so I'll trust him and give it a try. But the name makes me think of this material as my mistress' pussy juice. Please help me.

He's sexy, but so is VASHTORR THE ARKIFANE, which I saw for the first time today. Being half-naked, showing off his ass, having mechanical limbs, and being able to strip his armor is almost the same as a Japanese "美少女プラモ" or a porn figure. I'm not kidding, it's really the same, and VASHTORR is the only man who can do that. Ahh!

Cronos Parasite Engine, wip

I started painting it with the aim of making it look like "a real-looking individual with options commissioned by a wealthy person," but it's starting to look like "despite the high-end options, it's starting to deteriorate from heavy use."

Should I paint all the skin first before starting on the armor? I'm getting discouraged by painting the tentacles.

The middle of the bottom row might have turned out well.

I first put dots of ivory on the lighter parts, then layered the mid-tone on top of the black base, making the color slightly more vivid and darker, and as I approached the peak of the ivory, I dotted the lighter ivory on top again. Sometimes I mixed from the wet edge to create a gradation.

I'm using Lamian Medium without really understanding it. I have to be careful.
