To my Photography Friends:

(especially DSLR shooters)

Let's face it, there is some sense of elitism concerning the type of camera you own and shoot with, but how important is it to have a full frame camera? I'm upgrading my body from a mid-range cropped sensor nikon body and I can afford the Nikon D600 which is a full frame body, but I think I'm going to go with the D7100. It's a cropped sensor, but it lacks an anti-aliasing feature on the sensor (not sure the exact technical terminology) to make images sharper. Also it seems to have amazing videography features like manual control over exposure in live view.

Alot of people are saying go full frame or go home, but I feel like just getting a camera because it's full frame shouldn't be deciding factor. I shoot in low light a lot and I know a larger sensor is good for that, but the D7100's low light performance rivals that of the D600.

So how important is having a full frame sensor, really?? Any input would be rad.
