‘Why the fuck are there two Mahogara’: a jjk modulo time travel prompt

There aren’t that many fic about jjk Modulo yet, but too many of them are about flinging Modulo!OP!Yuji back to 2018, or —why not— in Gojo & Geto’s high school time. Sure. Angst and all that, I can get behind it. but c’mon, Modulo is so much more than just edgelord Yuji, jkk equivalent of Master of Death!Harry Potter. Give the rest of the cast a chance! Also, sooo much crack potential.

So here’s my modest contribution.

Quick reminder of jjk modulo events, for those who didn’t get the memo:

Alien refugees with jujutsu ask for asylum on Earth, but peaceful negotiations fall through cuz cursed spirits register to Simurians like Kalyans (protector divine beasts they worship) and they demand human stop exorcizing them —> ritual duel to the death between representatives to decide whose might makes right)

Sumerian champion Dabura (cursed technique: light & xxxxx [unknowable concept for humans described as killing intent made tangible]) VS Yuka Okkotsu (Yuta & Maki's granddaughter with terminal brain cancer) who summons Mahoraga and hides in his shadow

BUT the pair of alien twin(k)s Maru & Cross (one half of which is in coma)+ the two Okkotsu sibs + Yuji Whom Gege Is Still Finding New And Novel Ways To Hurt™ use the Ritual of Harmony

AKA the power of friendship (harnessed through collective hallucination & circular handholding) + the most vague and cheated cursed technique in existence (‘Chaos & Harmony’) + Mahito’s sorry ass

to uno reverse Gege and make happy ending for everyone and get rid of cursed energy for good

WHAT IF Dabura's Domain Expansion & Mahogara interfere with the Ritual of Harmony, by virtue of Yuka (a member of the ritual) having been caught in the first and being the summoner of the second (also: presently hidden in its shadow).

Put in the mixer: - 'Chaos' (break the laws of physics), - 'Harmony' (track & bring together things/groups/people that ressemble each other/are compatible/related), - 'Otherworld between Darkness and Light: Reverse Transcendance' (Dabura's very first, experimental Domain Expansion, nobody know the effect yet), - Mahogara's everything -- the Loophole Cheatcode (TM), applied to both Dabura and Yuka (and by extension: the Ritual of Harmony she's part of) + the fact that it also have the 'Harmony' attribute - 'Idle Transfiguration' (Mahito's technique) - Yuji's whole cursed energy pool

Me think we have justification for massive space-time distortion —> time travel :D

Dabura, Yuka and Mahoraga get pulled back in time to another invocation of Mahoraga—no, not the one by Sukuna, the one by Megumi (his Cursed Energy signature is closer to Yuka’s than Sukuna-in-Megumi’s-meat-suit according to the Harmony CT). Which means: Dabura and Yuka crash the October 31st shitshow in Shibuya.

Buy one Mahogara get one free!! Everyone is terribly confused (and panicking. They are so screwed)

What you gotta know about Dabura:  - glazed as a Sukuna level threat ever since his first appearance ; has the same quantity of Cursed Energy as Sukuna and is the strongest on his planet. However he has little actual fighting experience (because there was no one to pose an actual challenge to him) ; yearns to catch up to the ‘real warriors’ by having to struggle to earn the victory in a fight ; certified genius figured out RCT and Domain Expansion on the spot while fighting fucking Mahoraga - actually has no personal stake whatsoever in the Rumelian’s religious hangup about curse exorcism, due to him actually being a Deskunte = member of the very tribe who subjugated the Rumelian—but he promised to his Rumelian bestie whom he killed in a ritual duel to protect the Rumelian, and after the duel absconded with them (and his younger sister cursed by his tribe leader to keep him in line it's complicated) on their exodus to Earth. - my man (Simurian. Whatever) has very good pokerface, except he walked straight into a door after prolonged eye contact with the cute cook lady. These two win jjk romance of the century no debate 

what you gotta know about Yuka Okkotsu: - Grandpa Yuta’s little girl, whom he gifted the Rika ring to; but the family elders imposed that the heir, her elder brother Tsurugi (who doesn’t want it, he’s grandma Maki’s boy, thank you very much) have it. She has beef about that - god FORBID she tells anyone in her family about her terminal brain cancer (nope, only tells jaded alien boy)  instead she chooses to go out with a bang via Mahoraga murder-suicide as Earth’s representative in the duel against Dabura
