Wishful Thinking by Long Dog Samplers
First ever sampler that I designed! I took the leap after my ex broke up with me because the supplies I’m using were originally to make a gift for them. I scrapped what I designed for them and remade it into a sampler that incorporated things I love and felt represented me!
I’m about 30% done with it so far and it’s been a blast to work on. I’ve made a few mistakes but that’s ok! Below are some of my progress pics :)

You know me… just designing and stitching bats every opportunity. Did you know that Northern Ghost Bats in Costa Rica "sing" when they're feeding on their usual diet of moths? I make yummy sounds when I eat, too!

As a creative person, I have a lot of ideas. Like... a lot of ideas. And unfortunately, I do not have unlimited time to cross-stitch everything my brain cooks up, so I am sharing ideas with the public via Etsy.

Why Etsy? Frankly friends, I need money and I'm more than a little desperate. I'm disabled, so I can't work a "typical" young adult job, like cashier at Walmart or fast-food worker. My chronic fatigue and nerve damage won't allow me to. During the school year, I was a sub and I coached, but both those things paid absolute dirt, and now the school year is over. In addition, I am moving across the state at the end of July - which requires money for things like rent and food. Selling cross stitch samplers is one of the things that I can do.
*There are currently only three, the ones you see above. However, I do have many more ideas and will be updating my listings often. I am even down to do a custom pattern or even cross stitch something unique for you. I also do things like paint, make jewelry, crochet rectangles that can be used as baby blankets. And, I live in a house full of creative people, so I have things like a button maker and a cricut. I would love to help bring an idea to life.`
