Puzzle #16: Kakuro/Cross Sums
Working my way through each logic puzzle type I know, one by one. This week, we have what Nikoli calls Kakuro, but what I remember from Dell Magazine and my dad as Cross Sums.
In the same way that crosswords have Across entries and Down entries, the rules here are:
Fill each white square with a single digit from 1 to 9, inclusive.
The digits in each Across entry must sum to the number given directly left of the entry. Similarly, the digits in each Down entry must sum to the number given directly above the entry.
Digits may not repeat within an entry.
Please enjoy!
