hey all guess who's back back back again. it's now been 2 weeks since my wip poll concluded. posted progress update #1. this is #2.

ichiprez reunion: 3 votes. am struggling to edit this but I do have the pdf ready to go.

kiss ask #2, #3, #4: 2 votes. completed. posted a snippet. hopefully the full fics will come sooner rather than later.

ch 3 of unfinished klapollo fic: 3 votes. completed this by drafting about 400 words. here’s a snippet.

“True,” Klavier concedes. “The hair was a… choice. But it was legal. And harmless. Not indicative of international crime, is it?” He pauses, and then says, “These days I keep picking at all his faults. I keep thinking, oh, I should have caught on, years ago.” “There’s no way you could have known.” “Logic would say so, wouldn’t it?” Klavier muses. “But my heart can’t let go. Daryan worked in International Affairs, but when I knew him, his true aspirations were towards Interpol. Years later, he kills an agent from that very division. Is that poetry or cruelty?”

After a grueling, miserable week of work, he dug up that scrap of legal pad from the pants pocket he’d shoved it into, and dialed Satou’s number. She didn’t pick up, but she texted “5” to him, an an hour later it was just past 5pm when she called him back. If he strained his ears, he could hear the traffic around her. “Hello, Satou-san,” he said. Her voice crackled through the phone. “Ichinose-san. Nice to hear from you.” Definitely a car microphone, with that terrible quality. A good start, that she wasn’t a reckless driver. “Is it bad news or good news that you’re calling me for?” “…Both?”

Honestly im just genuinely wanting to know where it states that the first cast being adults since my understanding was them still being young. Since they were the class after tth and we only ever keep getting the statement of a "few months" and being a prequel to tth. If its 6.5 stating multiple years after disappearance I find it a bit harder purely since we get Rei's design change which I feel is supposed to imply a large jump of time between 6 and 6.5. (and with it she doesnt change from 6.5 to sdra2 when linuj is good about making characters change to show passage of time) I would genuinely love to hear though since I care a lot about understanding canon ages and intended writing.

Tsurugi mentions in his FTE that Kouhei died 3 years ago, and Tsurugi was 14 when he died. Which means he's 17. Except no, since at that point they've still lost the memories of their school year.

Now, the THH cast get locked in at the end of their second year (and the GD cast's third year), which means the DRA cast were finishing their first year, which makes sense for them to be 17 then.

Then, there's two years between the THH cast being locked in the shelter and the killing game beginning.

While you could say that the Test Killing Game happened immediately after Class 78 was locked away, Junko and co. had a lot on their plate at the time and Class 79's killing game was specifically a test run of the more important killing game aimed at Class 78 (the THH one) and kind of a lower-priority project.

Lining up with LINUJ's statement that they're all adults, then, it makes perfect sense; the test killing game takes place 12-20 months after the end of DR3 Despair and the THH cast being locked in the shelter.

Therefore: the DRA cast are all 18 to 19.
