now back to our regular upload, some mecha beauty... obviously that is a Gundam Crossbone X1, but they made a super nicely alternate design to the model in this huge chunks of metal...

and this might be why those unofficial metal build really over thrown big manufacturers models...

SD Crossbone X-1 "Jolly Roger" - Progress Photos Part II This was supposed to be part of a group build back in JANUARY but I was stuck being unable to airbrush due to the weather - but I finally started working on him! I just adore the proportions on these slightly older SD Kits and this little guy was no different. For the action base, I really wanted to achieve that 'weathered bone' look with some stress lines to make it realistic. I used citadel layer, shade and dry paint to create the texture and shading on the skulls (in the base, gun, and v-fin) I hope you enjoy him, and as always, be on the lookout for more pictures!
