Some times I believe that Crosshair is not only so calm and quite because he is breed that way...

It's his job. When he is up on a platform or a hill he is alone. He can see eveything from up there, but there is no one he can tell the things he sees, either good or bad. He has to observer everything on his own. I believe that in some location he has like the most beautiful view from up there. That also brings him alot of calmness and peace. It's not only his nature. It's his life.
