Listening to these wise men speak about Christian Hip Hop has been one of my most productive hours in recent weeks. It's fitting that when I first consciously dedicated my life to Christ this was the first group that I heard that performed rap that was exclusively Christ exalting. Throughout the years, since I first heard one of their CDs and saw them minister at a church in my hometown of Milwaukee, there have been several different philosophies coming from different artists in their approach to presenting their art as Phanatik explained. Hearing and seeing different forms of Christian rap represented has led to confusion, annoyance, anger, relief and at one point a feeling of just being done with it altogether. Hearing these men talk has confirmed what I believe the Bible has to say about how Christians should use their art to win individuals to Christ.
