The Addams Family Verse

Based on the Addams Family Musical and the 1991 film (and it’s sequel).

When Melody left Graystark Hall and began to wander the streets she wasn’t left to starve and regenerate into Mels. Instead she wandered into Central Park and was found by Gomez Addams.

Although she was very nervous around the family; afraid that they would send her back, it soon became clear that they were accepting her as an Addams and she was officially adopted.

She is the older sibling of Wednesday and Pugsley and had moved out by the events of the film. She is an archaeologist focusing on mass graves and ancient torture techniques. But she will always return home for big events.

House M.D

Dr River Song works in the diagnostic field of medicine and has been newly transferred to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

She grew up in England with her parents until she was six years old. At that point her parents sadly died in a car accident and she was taken in by her Aunt Kovarian. Kovarian was not the loving Aunt seen in public and very often the young girl had to look after herself. Growing up she knew she wanted to be a doctor, she studied obstetrics but was more interested in the diagnostic side of it.

It takes her a while to trust people now, and even longer to let herself depend on them in the slightest.

Guinevere

River isn't an official member of the Kingsman Secret Service however she works closely with them. Often she'll work with security and a few times the Knights themselves. Her code name is Guinevere to show that she isn't a full member but is still a part of their work.

Bones

River works at the Jeffersonian Institute. She's an archaeologist but often brought in to identify things found among bodies. She likes Dr Brennan and they worked with each other in the mass graves. Temperance would identify the bodies and River identified any belongings.

The 100

River is a grounder. She has lived her whole life on Earth as part of Trikru Clan. Her parents were killed by the Mountain Men via their fog and so she was raised by her Great Aunt Madame Kovarian. But she had never wanted a child and so River spent her life training to be a warrior.

This led to many visits to the healer. John was kind and good to her and the two were in a relationship for many years. 

When the people from the sky arrived River was very wary of them and just like many of her people she took them as a threat. However her views on them have changed. This is mainly because of John, he was taken by the Mountain Men and used for Harvest Project.

River had hoped that he was alive, but when they stormed Mount Weather he wasn’t found and has been presumed dead.

Although she stays with her people she does hold respect for the people from the sky now and is unlikely to hurt them.

Hobbit/Lord of the Rings

River is a wood-elf who lives in Greenwood forest for most of her life. She is fascinated with weapons, her favourite is her blade that was passed down her family but she can fight using others too.

When needed it is her job to estimate the value of things found but not wanted by the other elves.

Wicked

River lives in Oz, specifically in Gillikin Country. She was born in a rich family but when she was two her parents both died quickly one after each other. The young girl was sent to live with her Aunt who was not as loving as the young girl would have liked.

River is the same age as G(ah)linda and Elphaba but was unable to go to Shiz as her Aunt didn't let her. Behind the elder woman's back River went into the forest to try and speak to animals who had ran away from the people trying to stop them from losing their voices.

It was in the forest that she met Elphaba one night. She was a little fearful of the other woman to begin with but soon tried to help her.

A Pirate's Life For Me!

The year is 1718 and River Song, also known as 'The Vixen', is at the height of her career as a pirate but it wasn't always like this.

To begin with River was known as Melody Pond, she was a kind young girl who lived in London with her parents. However she lost both of her parents when she was sixteen and was taken to stay with her Aunt who was not kind and who used River's pretty face to make money.

When River was twenty-two she was with a 'client' who hurt her, she panicked and lashed out against him accidentally killing him. Terrified she ran away from her Aunt's lodgings. She hid for a long time until a man offered her passage to Tortuga if she married him when they arrived. Although she didn't completely wish to she did so.

Once more she had bad luck and the man turned out not to be who he said he was, she ended up finding she was actually appearing as a stowaway. Luckily for her she was on board The Indigo Queen ( xoxfromnyc) and they allowed her to stay so she could have enough money. Over many years she was able to raise money and bought her own ship. She followed in her mentor's footsteps become a pirate too.

Now at the age of forty-three she still sails the sees on board 'Idris' with a loyal crew.
