(B/c I wanted to be self-indulgent and thought "why not?" for a Crossover AU idea I just let happen)
@omg1wanttidd1es-sb I know I said I would send this to you but like... I couldn't keep it "ask box" short so I just decided to make this a post instead. So yeah, here's a lot bit of Tristan, Jacenta & Ava.
Also honorary mentions and "Thank you"s to @tomatojellyfish, @thethronezone, @baldieboi and @hanon-akulai. The first three for all the headcannons and thoughts about the Primarchs' kids that also inspired me. The last one, well you also inspired me, but I mainly wanted to thank you for just reading about my boy Tristan and my girl Kyra that one time and thought to give you something to read that's mine lol.
(I'll try to just keep closer to WH40k lore/things and not as much as the other elements since I'm not certain how much you all know or like Devil May Cry or Lies of P.)
Tristan Nero Oscuridad of Baal
Born from Sanguinius of Baal and Kyra Louise Oscuridad, claimed by Pinocchio
Kyra nicknames him "My Little Changling" because dude, CHANGES SO MUCH AS HE GROWS UP! The only thing that has been consistent was his black wings/wing color. They have a rainbow sheen if seen in the right light.
Infant: Came into the world with curly blonde hair and very pale with the color of his mother's eyes (Magenta? IDK what I call the color) but soon develops a gold crescent in his eyes once his pysker abilities start to emerge, much sooner than ever considered. (Thanks Magnus)
Child (2-10 years): His hair calms down into wavy locks that is mostly black, but does look a bit purple in the right light. His skin isn't so pale anymore, much more sun-kissed. He begins to wear the tribal marks of Baal. (A star underneath each eye most of the time)
Preteen-Late Teen: Again his hair changes color to what we see above but remains wavy and he grows it out long (Left image). He'd start wearing both tribal markings AND jewelry. (V pretty. V Twunk(tm)) I think most of the other Primarch Children would recall him looking like this while growing up since he'd be the Oldest Cousin.
Late-Teen to Young Adult: Basically the same as before, just he's without his left wing. A physical reminder of shame for not passing the Blood Angels' initiation into their ranks. He wouldn't wear as much jewelry or any at all depending on his mood. The depression and loathing of losing his wing would show very much on him for a long time but gradually learns to accept this drastic change.
Young Adult to Now: The cracking of his skin was thanks to his body holding together when the warp threatened to tear him apart with his thousand son cousins, but it held together. His eyes taken to a dim gold when his body stablized with it's cracks. The scars on his face are from points where he was running for his life in the warp. The earrings he wears are from two different cousins he was close with. The moon earring was from a daughter of Magnus. The Green wing was from a child of Vulkan. The nose piercings are something he chose for himself, just like the new markings he wears.
Personality: Tristan carries himself mostly like his biological father Sanguinius; poised, elegant, thoughtful and respectful. As the eldest of all the Primarch children, he is quite vigilant and considerate of all the other children when he's able to provide aid, mediation or company. It did take him some time to learn to juggle priorities, along with saying "no." Yet, he was never afraid to discipline/reprimand his blood related siblings when none of their parents were around.
Trivia 1: Calls ALL Blood Angels "Brother", "Big Brother" if he's aware of them being older than him, "Little Brother" if he's aware of them being newly initiated or much younger than him.
Trivia 2: He REALLY loves wearing all kinds of jewelry or just having anything shiny to be honest. He did have a small treasure horde thanks to others' being aware of this fondness for such things. He felt a little bad if he hasn't worn something for a bit or not at all.
Trivia 3: He calls Kyra, "Mother", his biological father Sanguinius, well, "Father" and lastly his other father Pinocchio he flips between calling him "Padre Pino" or "Padre"
Trivia 4: Before the family parted from the girls at the Councilium, he gave them each of them a trinket he made from a feather from Sanguinius, Atreus and himself, with two separate locks of hair belonging to their mother and padre, all tied in a neat and cute bow; "I hope it's not so bizarre to gift these. I just thought.... When you miss us, so much that it aches you. I hope these might bring you some comfort."
Trivia 5: Is the most hygiene sensitive of his siblings. This is something he'd nag his younger siblings on THE MOST.
Trivia 6: The Alpha Legion put in an order of protection for him and his other siblings, ever since he was an infant; "Protect the One Black Wing."
Jacenta Eugenie Oscuridad of Baal
Looks more like her biological father Pinocchio, but most of her freckles are on her body rather than her face when she was old enough for them to emerge.
Since she and Ava are born from Pino and Kyra and claimed by Sanguinius, she'll be among the smallest in the group; Second to being the smallest to be exact.
She and Ava are 3 years older than Luscinia and 5 years older than Atreus. Tristan is 5 years older than them.
Wore various kinds of braids, mostly in twin braids, as she grew up. Once she leaves the Councilium, Jacenta cuts her hair into a pixie cut.
The child of Sanguinius, Kyra and Pino that will have the most scars, her first one coming from a sparring match with one of Leman's Daughters. The one on her chest. No worries, or hard feelings from Jacenta's end about the scar either.
In Post-Heresy, 41st century she'd be known as "Centria the Everlasting" not due to being one of the Councilium that has survived but strangely hasn't aged the same. Keeping more of her youth than expected, looking her late 20's to early 30's despite how long she has lived.
Among the best duelists that isn't Chapter Master or Primarch, but a mediocre pysker that's merely good enough. Much better at using her "rage state" than any Blood Angel or of their founding, aside from Luis Dante and Mephiston of course.
She attempts to keep the record of her whole family in tact, however is only able to keep only a fraction alive; Atreus' and her own. She considers this her greatest failure.
Personality: She is excitable and chatty just like her mother yet extremely focused and disciplined like her biological father and has the ferocity, stubbornness, and the duty to protect the innocent and family of them both. Yet, she grew to know that she would always be more to be taken seriously, to be seen and respected as an equal or worthy of her gained. Very much the embodiment of "No matter how big and tall you grow, you'll ALWAYS look up to me!" The most likely to bud heads with Tristan on many things but not out of needing to be right but to consider another path and to simply be heard. This has brew a certain temperament that is somewhat predictable. Somewhat.
Trivia 1: Thanks to Jacenta's chatty nature, she's undaunted to initiate conversations and discussions to anyone that strikes her interest; Which usually are of the loner, quiet and mysterious variety. She likes to chat and show off her achievements too! Mostly to her Primarch uncles. (Results did vary.)
Trivia 2: She likes to dance more then play instruments, if she isn't dancing with her mother, she's most likely dancing with Atreus, her younger brother. But if she HAS to play an instrument it would be in the percussion category like maracas or a güiro.
Trivia 3: Jacenta gets along well enough with the others in the Councilium but she gets most along with Gulliman's daughter, one of Leman's daughter (the one to give her the first scar on her body) and Horus' daughters. With this mind, Jacenta also butt heads with Luscinia whenever she choses to be.... "not nice". The one who reminds Luscinia the most to at least tolerate and "not deprive herself of allies"; something their parents have been trying to instill in her on some level.
Trivia 4: She'd have mixed emotions about the members of The Blood Angels, but she'd respect them and call them all her "Brothers". However, would put most others above them unless they connect with her more deeper than the rest.
Trivia 5: Chose to be a duelist since her parents are accomplished duelists and thought it'd make them proud if she followed their leads. (They're already proud of her but she probably wouldn't except it until she reaches a level satisfaction. Which wouldn't happen until post-heresy, after Sanguinius' passing.)
Ava Sophie Oscuridad of Baal
Looks the most like her biological father Pinocchio, with freckles dotting her face, and some on her body, when she was old enough for them to emerge.
Since she and Jacenta are born from Pino and Kyra and claimed by Sanguinius, she'll be among the smallest in the group; The smallest to be exact, but only by an inch, 5'3" without shoes.
She and Jacenta are 3 years older than Luscinia and 5 years older than Atreus. Tristan is 4 years older than them.
When she taps into her well of power, her eyes take on a bright blue glow but it's gentle compared to most pyskers. She is also able to hear more than most as well.
Ava always kept her hair long and tied up in some fashion. Mostly in a ponytail or the "Dead Mom" side ponytail but later on in life, while venturing into both webway and warp; she wears a loose braid.
Ava may not wear many markings of Baal but she chooses to wear the appropriate clothes originate from Baal out of all her siblings. Second one to wear the most jewelry of the siblings.
In the time of Post-Heresy, 41st Century, she's out and about doing what she can to fix or locate many things; Her appearance is sparse to the point of being mainly unknown... Until a lending hand or word is needed to guide in the right direction.
Clearly I'm stuck on what to have her being doing haha!
Personality: Ava has a presence that would be missed if absent yet not noticed when she's around unless someone paves an easy path to have her voice heard. She's the type that keeps to herself most times but doesn't mind company when it approaches her with a soft smile and greeting. She likes to watch others up close or afar, to take in what they'd do or say and store the information away. Another poised child of the five but of the calm variety rather than "ready to act". She does have the expression that could be unreadable but if asked, she is always sincere about her emotions to those she trusts. However is commonly told, "Remind me not to get on your bad side." by others.
Trivia 1: At some point during their stay at the Councilium, either Jacenta or Luscinia or both tried to encourage Ava to be louder than her usual soft voice. Think of the "Fluttershy's yay" scene from My Little Pony. The only time she will be louder than a whisper is when she's singing.
Trivia 2: She'd much prefer to sing than to play an instrument or dance, but doesn't mind the other activities. She could play the violin like their mother or piano like Pinocchio, she has no favorite. She is clumsy with her steps when dancing, though generally she can keep to the steps and beat; is content with being a back up dancer.
Trivia 3: Honorary Member of The "Forbidden Knowledge? Hell Yeah!" Club; She's often sought out for a chance of gaining additional context to old texts via the "Voices" that she could tune into, or ones that reach out to her in hopes of being heard. Most times she's honest, sometimes she does choose to be mischievous just to mess her cousins. Though she rarely is with them at the start of their investigations.
Trivia 4: Malcador kept his eyes the closest on Ava along with any other potentially power pysker in the Councilium due to how chaotic the power of the warp could be. She grew to be close to Malcador thanks to his constant and vigilance.
Trivia 5: Out of the siblings, Ava would be the most sought after for marriage proposals since she does actually consider marriage more than the others. However, this does make her siblings are far more protective of her when it comes any outsider baselines.
Thanks for reading if you got this far. I thought of adding their mother, Kyra on this post but I felt like the post was getting WAY TOO LONG already. (I not to mention I tried to make this easy to read. I hope I succeeded there.) So, another time. Besides much of the above is still being cooked in the kitchen so to speak, haha!
