Sonic Prime: Fragmented AU lore!

(I'm making this post to give a little more context to the mini comics I've already posted.)

The Sonic lore!!!

The basic premise of this au is that Sonic did try and listen to his friends and didn't crash into the Paradox Prism, taking defense of it instead. He still gets screwed over though... 💀

Eggman and Sonic are both responsible for breaking the Prism and Sonic gets blipped out of the timeline from being exposed to the larger shards:

He stays unconscious and out of commission for a long time before finally getting spat back into his world but it's not what it once was since he was erased from the timeline, enabling Eggman to take over (much like Sonic CD, bad future).

Like in the original series, Sonic has fused with the energy from the Prism but since it was only broken into two pieces instead of multiple, Sonic has more than he can handle and can sometimes do more damage than he means to.

He eventually joins the resistance and is given little baby inhibitor rings to keep his prism energy capped off and prevent further damage.

Quick note, the gold rings on his jacket don't inhibit his prism powers like the ones on his gloves, they're just for style! :)

Sonic's main mission is to retrieve the other half of the Prism and hopefully fix his old world.

abt luz's eye + scars!!

right so i've been getting quite a few questions here and elsewhere about whats up with Luz the last couple of times i've drawn her! i am here to explain!

in the image above, there are FIVE things visually different with her!

the first, obviously, is the eye. that comes from Luz nearly being petrified by belos! im not the first person to think of this, obviously, but i decided to make it a visual trait by making her eye gray and clouded, like a cataract.

the second are the lichtenberg-like scars across her arms, neck, and face. she actually has these all over her body, and they come from being disintegrated by belos and, as i imagine, put back together in a haste by papa titan! doing things fast was the name of the game at that point, resulting in the titan kind of just. gluing her back together with his magic, so to speak.

the third is her drooping eyelid! very subtle and it sort of blends into her daydreaming expression in my last drawing, but this idea is courtesy of @botmuffins! the idea is that the eyebrow scar affected the musculature of the eyelid beneath, affecting her ability to keep it completely opened, and is based off of some mild symmetry issues in Thanks To Them!

the fourth is the bandaged hand! that occurs during the events of a fic i'm still chipping away at, which relates very muchly to the scars explained thus far

the fifth is her slightly different hairstyle! again, has to do with events of the aforementioned fic, but i came up with it when looking at titan luz's long hair and her original short hair, wanting to combine the two somehow

and there are other scars not visible on luz's person in the image! im talkin about the little rib-thingies and chest emblem on her titan form, babey!!! the rib-thingy scars resemble those of regular flesh wounds, but the chest emblem more closely resembles burn scarring!
