Last Holiday starring Queen Latifah came out 20 years ago and the social commentary on the plight of working class americans and evils of capitalism remains depressingly evergreen, but unfortunately the part where she has an actual savings account with money in it is now unrealistic.
caine = kayne is so real bc wdym they both act like/are basically gods, everyone hates them and wants them dead and they sang a musical number and confused everyone but also ate it tf up 🙏‼️

She’s a sheep demon, daughter of the Ram Zodiac (that’s a whole other part of my personal lore) and currently training under a Xiezhie to work under the King Yama. She’s not too pleased with what’s expected of her and causes a lot of problems for fun.
Eiki Touhou but without the lectures or caring where someone goes in the afterlife.
Is the mouseverse fandom ready for the niche Mickey Mouse knock-off that scared the heck out of us when we were little...?
This is Maxi Mouse (that's how we choose to spell his name), and he's from a mediocre russian direct-to-DVD animated movie "Elka" (or "Polar Adventures", as it was apparently called according to the english wikipedia page). Despite being quite odd and maybe "meh", this movie is now nostalgic and charming to us, in a weird way.
Maxi Mouse is a giant robot operated by one of the movie's antagonists, and he's pretty much used as their enforcer. Due to his tendency to overheat, he has to "eat" snow and ice a lot, which is one of the reasons why the villains want to take over both the North and the South Pole.
Anyway, this guy is GINORMOUS and FLIPPING SCARY and has a deep, booming, slightly distorted voice, brrrgh! 😨😨 Just to give you a feel of how HUGE he is:
He then swatted a zeppelin like it was a freaking fly.
Oh, and in case you don't see how he's clearly inspired by Mickey:
He looked much more like him... once. And even in his most prevalent design, you can see the big shoes and even the "buttons" on "shorts".
You know, we kind of love how, despite being a scary Mickey Mouse knock-off, Maxi Mouse doesn't feel like one. His colours and proportions are totally different, and in the end he's being operated by a different person while only being a shell. He's doesn't feel like people took Mickey Mouse, made him creepy and evil and said "Haha, look what we did to your childhood!". Maxi Mouse became his own thing. And that's nice.
@tprings-hair created some transparent PNGs of the Star Trek gents and said "put those men in situations" so I just had to make this.
They've been stranded on Agricultural Outpost Darrowby, there's a Situation, and in true Trek fashion Captain Kirk knows how to fix this situation and it involves getting shirtless.
I mean, really, you cannot convince me that farmboy Captain Kirk hasn't had to pull a calf before.
yes I have an ACGAS/Trek crossover in mind, we'll see if I ever get around to writing it haha
