January Announcement #3

Our first site event has officially launched!

In an unusual decision, the Herald has decided to recruit both the Templars and the Mages; an unprecedented choice that is certain to have unintended and potentially unseen consequences. Ellana Lavellan will take her team to Redcliffe to meet with the rebel mages, while Cullen Rutherford will take his forces, unannounced, to Therinfal Redoubt and enter the hold by force.

So both In Hushed Whispers and Champions of the Just will play out on the site. Another interesting and exciting element is that we have made an AU section available during the event! The “mission failed” ending slates, where the Inquisitor has either vanished or is replaced by a demon, will be scenarios that our members can roleplay out if they so choose. We also encourage reaction threads, as well as drabbles if you would prefer to write on your own.

Please don’t forget that voting for OTMs, as well as our activity check, will be happening on Tuesday, January 24th. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to message us.

World War 3 ended in 2021 and with its end came many changes to the world we know. China’s economy fell and the country turned into a living hellhole while Japan met a similar fate yet and was kept safe thanks to the ocean surrounding it. Korea impressed the world with it’s massive power for what was such a small country and rose to power. Though the new rise also allowed a corrupt government to run the country. The Mafia monopolized everything; the government, weapons, money and even the civilians lives. Two major families have the country in the palm of their hands, from strip clubs to the local bakery. What was once illegal could happen right under the people’s noses and no one would do anything about it if there is approval from the Mafia. Before the war, many rich Chinese families moved to Korea for they foresaw what the fate of their country was, leaving the country with lower classes who were left in the dark. The economy was on a thin line and on the edge of collapsing. then it happened. War broke out and hell broke loose. People lost their homes, businesses were destroyed and left most to eat the scrap they could find in the street. Many moved away for the chance of a better life somewhere else, but the decline of economy left many to stay and live their new lives. Korea however after the war came out prosperous and almost seemingly untouched. The War officially ended in 2021, and nothing other than the Mafia families were left to gain more power in Korea. Now it’s 2023, 2 years after the war’s end, and they are unstoppable. What will happen to you? Will you live a good life with money, power and sex as an everyday livelihood? Or are you trying to climb your way up to the top? Perhaps you have no idea how corrupt your government really is… Welcome to Crossroads RP. Upon a pathway in a forested area, a young medic had recently accomplished a far-away mission. Grass crunching below her feet, the pinkette took cautious steps down the road, hoping not to catch wandering eyes of rogue Shinobis that were situated in the place. She was not in the mood to deal with any fights nor was she in the right energy to do so. Nearly risking her life completely to save people from a burning home in the village, Sakura Haruno would not want to hinder herself even more.

I can't want to get home. She thought to herself, almost smelling the sweet dish that her mother would make her as well as her father, chuckling in the table after telling a joke that she could never understand. The taste of home was near the tip of her lips as she continued her way towards her lovely village: Konohagakure no Sato.

"I hope Tsunade-shishou gives me a day-off..." Her eyes snapped immediately behind her, sensing an unknown presence. Cursing under her breath, she prayed that it would not be an enemy ninja following her. Sakura prepared the intense energy in her fist, boiling it up till it would be ready to strike a large punch. Feeling that the figure was closer, she dashed towards them and before she could get a hit, she halted back. Her jade orbs widened to see --
