In this past week's episode of #Supernatural 14.3 The Scar, we saw the return of a couple guest spots that were used perfectly to bring our main character's current issues to the forefront and pose questions. The scene between Dark Kaia and Dean was such a great way to setup Dean’s current mental state for the audience in a way that didn’t require a bunch of talking and yet made sense and addressed a rather controversial moment during last season. Fear or being afraid is a great character motivator because it’s something we can all relate to in some way. Our quick thoughts on 14.02 'Gods and Monsters': Richard Speight Jr. is slowly becoming one of the best regular directors of the series. We certainly hope everyone will exercise patience with the Michael/Dean scenario, because it's without a doubt the biggest risk this show has taken in years and we (The Crossroads) are stoked to see that Dabb was willing to go the direction he took the season premiere. When a show is going on 14 seasons, taking a risk can add longevity and create new narrative paths.
