Supernatural S14E10 Nihilism...

FIRST OFF, I WAS SCREAMING! This episode was so good. That moment when Pamela was talking to Dean and told him she knew he wasn’t interested in her and really only wanted to flirt killed me. Then there’s the fact that Cas has picked up the little knock at the end of a conversation. I’m pretty sure he got it from Dean but who knows. AND OF COURSE, BILLY! JHFC that edinging was too good. The ledgers of Death all rewriting to say Dean dies at the hands of Michael except one! Spook magook!!!!! I think it could be something about Dean sacrificing himself to keep Michael locked away forever, or maybe even restarting the apocalypse because of how Lucifer clearly woke up in the empty early this season. This second half of the season is off to a bang and I for one am excited

I came across a post a few days ago which read that Dean might have been a very good engineer. This crossed my mind.

Dean is always grumpy around books and research. He always rolls his eyes when Sam is being a nerd. Harder, when he is being a nerd with another nerd. Although Dean is a well learned man as we have seen many times; his knowledge not only including bookish knowledge but also practical knowledge but he still poses himself to be not at all interested in any kind of reading and research unlike his brother. We see that he was also bad at studies in school; he didn't care about them. But he is an intelligent guy and when he knows something netdy he doesn't really brag about it.

It's not that he is not the 'less smarter' one, the less serious brother when it comes to academics, he always told himself that those things weren't for him. That he was his dad's soldier. So he kept himself away from something he didn't actually dislike. But he put on his armour of the sour grapes.
