“We should go out and do something,” Sophie said, flipping through a tourist guide she found. She never took the time to do much that would be considered ‘touristy’, and it was as if fate had made it so that the Roseanne look a like who sat in front of her at the buffet forget her brochure so she could find it.
“You ever see Penn and Teller live? We could do that.”

She glowed at the sight of that smile, so reluctant it was to break onto his face.

✉ - headcanon about letters
Around Christmastime, Eastman was always the one that wrote the family Christmas letter and organized all the addresses and such of their friends and relatives. He always wrote really long letters and would print everything out on nice stationary that he would get from this little place in town. While Christmas letters may seems like a small thing, they were one of Eastman’s favorite things to do every year and to reminisce on the previous year. He also loved receiving other people’s written letters even more so than the simple cards. After the death of his family, he attempted to write Christmas letters, but explaining what had happened to him and how he was feeling simply could not be contained within the print of the paper he still had from the year before. There had not been nearly enough time for him to grieve, and it was the first time in ages that no one received a letter from the Eastman household.
