desiramabtransfem tips please
I'm not AMAB or transfem so lmk if any else has any additions/corrections to this, but here are some tips based on transfems I know:
♡ Have the transfem flag in your pfp/bio or tell others you're transfem (if you're transfem of course- Since being transfem isn't exclusive to being AMAB, this isn't appropriative or transphobic or anything)
♡ Shave your face, legs, etc
♡ If you specifically desire to be pre-HRT but are not AMAB, buy a binder and a packer. If you want to be post-HRT, buy fake boobs (you can just search "fake boobs for cosplay" on amazon or something like that) or just don't bind, and if you want to be post-op don't pack if you don't have a dick and tuck if you do have one (be sure to say safe though, don't do it for too long)
♡ Try to voice train to make your voice a bit deeper, OR if you're able to you can go on T and then voice train to make your voice lighter again (for the first option, it can be helpful to pick a specific person to try to mimic to voice of)
♡ Engage in things common in transfem communities (catgirls/puppygirls, that one shark plushie, thigh highs, etc). Be sure not to perpetuate any stereotypes- Don't do things exclusively because they're "transfem things", do them because you enjoy them (and don't do things you don't enjoy)
♡ Join transfem communities, watch transfem youtubers, read up on transfem experiences, and just become as familiar with the community as possible (this is especially helpful if you can find transfems outside of the internet)
♡ Please remember that all of these things are optional, and don't reflect what every single transfem does/is like. Don't perpetuate stereotypes - and keep in mind that you aren't perpetuating stereotypes if you're just doing what you enjoy.
