What do you know about the Shared Progress?
Imagine a world in which people trust each other enough to rent their cars to a complete stranger. Think how it would be not having to buy a drill to make a single hole in the wall. Observe what various companies are doing in relation to specific work to be carried out by people with no employment relationship. This world has exceeded the borders of "unlikely" and today begins a new reality of coexistence and exchanges between people.
"The Shared Progress is a philosophy, a way of thinking and attitudes that we have in our daily life," says Andy Azevedo, who studies advertising and gives lectures on the theme and owns the Shared Progress "Fan Page" on Facebook.
This new "life style" promises to involve everyday people and their personal and professional to ensure that they leave the "individualism" and will develop a shared grow and learn. Companies must activate the Shared Progress as a wrench "on" and "off" and should act in their markets recognizing the importance of each strategic public. "In this movement companies should understand that the supplier becomes partner, that the consumer turns Developer" Homan says.
Collaborative authoring platforms open space for Shared progress while propagate the idea of providing employees with spaces for suggestions and creation which benefits all parties involved in a work or even the parties that will be affected indirectly by actions of companies or of social groups.
Crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowdlearning, creative economy, Shared Value, Conscious Capitalism, are real examples of how the Shared Progress acts thinking a whole lot larger than small individual actions.
Utopian seems a person allow your car to be used by a stranger to that rather than keep it in the garage, she can easily generate and profit on a product that would be stopped (not counting on the benefits that cities would have to be occupied by less cars).
More than a change in structure "consumption" and "ownership" of the capitalist society, the Shared Progress proposes a new logic of relationship of respect and trust among citizens.
Inspired by the lecture "the Shared Progress in the communication" given in the Escola de Comunicações e Artes (USP) by Thaisa Azevedo.
