idk if you're still wondering why people liked the song/mv, but for me.... mh's breakdown (or smth, idk what to call it) after the chorus kind of salvaged it. i'm not the biggest fan of "love me," bc i think it's a pretty weak track for nyoong, and i'm still a lil disappointed they didn't do some kind of horror concept like the teasers suggested. like it's a fine song, but that's kind of it? and i almost feel like "stay up all night" or "call me back" would have been better title tracks?? (1/2)
and i feel badly for saying anything bad about "love me" because, like, baekho wrote and produced it. he and the boys worked really hard on it and the rest of the album, so it makes me... sad? that i don't like it. (2/2)

i was questioning myself because i saw everyone enjoying the song, ‘NUEST_LOVE_ME’ was trending in my city’s trending topics on twitter, all my mutuals where like “YAS FUN CONCEPT” and i was feeling so ????? left out?????? i only saw the mv twice, and the second time was to make the four gifs i posted today. it didn’t get my attention at all.
i agree with you, it was weak for a title and i find so strange how they built up an atmosphere with the album trailers and they just ???? release that?????? it’s not a bad song, the “love love love me yah” sticks to the brain but it’s just that and nothing else.
i haven’t listened to the album yet but i will probably talk about it later...
i also feel so bad saying this... jr said all five of them really put so much effort doing everything, from concept to song prodution, i didn’t mean to say that this is a bad comeback, i just don’t see nu’est in it...
(by “i don’t see nu’est in it” i also didn’t mean to say that they should stick to one concept and milk the q is saga for the rest of their lives. but love me has such a child-like image, they are not teenagers who are looking for their innocent first love. they are grown ass men ???????? THEY ARE 25~27 ???? aron specially was so awkward in the mv i thought he was going to explode)
anyways i talked way to much but i was feeling so strange since this came out that i’m pissing my friends all day complaining about it.
on the bright side, they sold over 50k copies in 6h, breaking their own previous record of ~30k. and they are doing well on charts. this makes me a little happier.
