Vash had taken the coat off to try on some clothes and there regrettably hadn't been anywhere to set his coat inside of the changing room. One of the hooks on the wall had been busted off... so he had just left it outside.

He bent down slightly, not that he looked all that intimidating anyways, but getting closer to her level couldn't hurt, right?

"Uh huh, that's my coat, kiddo.... I know it looks a lil' rough, but 's a real nice one."

it was an ordinary afternoon some hours later than what a middle school student should otherwise be expected to be off when amane entered the front door at last. in his arms, he carried an almost comically large object compared to his own small frame. it was wrapped up for protection, but despite the eagerness in his steps, it was obvious that he knew to be careful with it.

after carelessly stepping out of his shoes without the usage of hands and leaving them be in the entryway, the boy announced his presence into the house. "rue-oneesan, you'll never guess what the old guy from the thrift store got me today!" in many ways, it was difficult for a 13 year old boy to be away from his family, but his roommate had made the situation much easier to deal with. it was almost like having a sibling. amane peeked into the living room to find her there.

Breaking News: Fight Between Two Echoes leaves Two Dead and One Injured

At late night, someone reported hearing a loud commotion to the police. Upon investigation, they discovered two dead echoes on the scene with many injuries. A young girl with black hair had many slashes and open wounds, similar to a beast while the boy looked slightly void-like with many stab wounds.  Upon investigation, they found blood in the scene that didn’t belong to either of the echoes. It also made a trail, showing not only was this individual alive, but also possibly injured. While they couldn’t identify the individual who had left, they found the identities of the echoes who died. The girl is known as Kraehe from Eterna village while the boy was Sora, who is a student of Blue Lion’s Academy. We do not know the identity of the third echo or their whereabouts. Please let us know immediately if you had found them.

with december coming and going, for yet another year, hanako was reminded of the loneliness in being location bound. the festive spirits and everyone looking forward to spending the holidays with loved ones was always enough to lace his mood with envy. then again, even when he was actually alive, he couldn't remember when there had last been a joyous mood for festivities. something like that would have to be his 4th birthday, and even that went to hell.

he didn't really feel like hanging out at the school where he could hear everyone talk about how much fun they had. instead he opted to stay at home.

"morning, kiddo, rise and shine~!" he put on a bright tone to mask his feelings and stuck his head through his room mate's closed door. "it's such a fine day to stay inside and free me from my boredom!"
