I don’t know whatever you wanna tell me
Alright. Story of how they met then it is!
So one thing consistent across all Vivian/Vixen variants is- even though shes seen as an ‘idol- she still very much likes the simpler things in life. She’s a firm believer that a meet-cute will happen with her and it will probably happen somewhere quaint like a cafe or a park or something similar. Sure she realizes her movies aren’t real, though she’s still painfully in a hopeless romantic mindset.
One day she is very rudely interrupted from her gazing-outside-the-cafe-window-with-a-coffee-in-her-hands to a realization that it’s a filming day. That shes now going to be late for unless she books it out of the cafe and up the city. While the sidewalk is relatively clear, the moment she turns to look behind her she- of course- runs into someone. She is still a kind soul though, and she does stop and help the person up, apologizing profusely as she does so. As they are bushing off the dust though, Vivian realizes the horror that if anyone recognizes her as Vixen this could be a whole scandal and a half if she doesn’t make it up to this guy.
Now this guy - we’ll call him blondie- because. Well. Yknow. Blondie is sweet, soft-spoken, keeps to himself, and doesnt really indulge in celebrity culture. To him, all he knows is that he just got accidentally knocked into by some random- if not a bit pretty- woman. A woman who has already apologized to him many times now and is asking if there’s anything she can do to make up for knocking into him. Weird that she seems so concerned about this when it was clearly a simple and honest mistake but surely if he just says that everything is okay and she doesn’t have to do anything she will just— That— o.okay thaaaaats a phone number on a slip of paper— dang shes really serious about this whole “making it up to you” thing, huh? He gets Vivian’s name (her actual name, not Vixen) as shes handing him the paper, and then they proceed to go their separate ways.
Of course such a strange interaction is going to spark curiosities, and it’s not like Blondie has anything better to do anyways. I mean. It was probably just a fake number to save face anyways. And if it was a real number well- he can call and rest assure her that everything was really okay and she needn’t fret about it! Either way, not much to lose. And she did seem very nice…..
Cue the snowball of affection with each and every phone call they have from then after.
