There really is a website for everything. I just found one that’s entirely dedicated to cataloguing CRT TVs—crtdatabase.com—and it honestly makes me so happy. Somewhere out there, someone cared enough about these old, boxy little televisions to photograph them, document them, and share them with the world. And that’s… beautiful, in a way. The idea that a person can love something so much, even something most people would toss in a skip without a second thought, and decide it’s worth preserving—it just fills me with joy. It’s proof that people still pour their hearts into strange, niche passions simply because they matter to them. And I think that’s one of the most hopeful things about being human.
