Cruschiform is the excellently-titled French creative studio headed up by wonderful illustrator and graphic designer Marie Laure Cruschi. Her impeccably produced work sings with a precision worthy of commission from a high range of clients to be used across publications, signage, prints and editorial commissions. Working between Paris and a small French [sic], Marie-Laure works at her desk with a large library of books which keep her inspired. “Colour and geometry have been driving my work for many years. Colour is my driving force even before drawing, it’s my emotional and narrative support,” says Marie-Laure. “Geometry serves as a base for me to create strong and expressive compositions.” It’s true, Marie-Laure’s use of colours and geometry really are the backbone of her work — demonstrated particularly in her illustrations for the highly successful Cabins book published by Taschen. Clients: SNCF, Orange, Netflix, Johnnie Walker, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Baileys, Krug, Dior, Annick Goutal, Cheval Blanc, Hermés, Bourjois, Taschen, National Geographic, GQ, Esquire, Wired. [X]
