Jackets
I don’t know if you know this, but that jacket you told me to hold on to for you has become a blessing and a curse to my heart. I love having it to sleep with as it still has your scent on it, but it hurts knowing you don’t think of me as anything more than a friend. I couldn’t tell you how much it would mean to me to be more but I know you’re happier with someone else, and I’m not about to come between you and happiness. I know this sounds cheesy, but I feel like Gatsby reaching out to that enchanted green light. Unlike Gatsby, I know I can’t rewind time and make you love me I just hope that you’re happy where ever you are.
