“it’s been awhile.” he comments, trying to break the tension. his relationship with jada hasn’t always been so weird, but now it’s like they can’t even be in the same house without giving off a strange vibe. “i guess staying out of trouble means you don’t come around, huh?” he quirks a brow, smiling slightly. but it actually isn’t funny, not even humorous. he’ll never admit it, but it kind of hurts his feelings? it’s like they don’t want to be around him unless there’s something to gain. if he’s in trouble then jada’s there, but he knows it’s only because it gives them some sort of hands-on experience with their major.
