Musta been a Crusta…

Here’s a classic that’s been around just about as long as the “cocktail” itself. Prior to the mid 19th century, a “cocktail” contained only sugar, water, bitters, and some type of spirit. The Crusta changed the rules, adding an acid, a sweet spirit, and a weak spirit to that traditional cocktail formula. Imbibers experienced the oral equivalent of the Industrial Revolution and their taste buds stood up and rejoiced. Originally made with Cognac, this concoction does equally well with Brandy (my favorite), Bourbon, or Rye. The elaborate garnish (which I only go along with when the cocktail has such a history) makes for a great presentation, and is sure to get your guests talking. A little sweet, a little sour, a lot surprising.

So what do you think would happen if the Diamonds lost their pearls. I think Blue would have an immediate breakdown and Yellow would have slower but larger one.

I think they would certainly panic and unravel a little bit. As much as they obviously take their Pearls for granted, they’re the only form of companionship they have aside from each other.
