crying about the fact that Ash just wants to hide out with his family and hope the monster goes away but Brandy urges him to stand up, partially for her benefit. and so he does fight for her but she’s scared so she makes him promise not to leave and he does, until he realizes that the only way to fulfill what she initially asked of him and to keep her safe IS to leave her. and how Brandy loses her father because of how much he doesn’t want to let her down and it’s all so 😭
