“I would say there are multiple things but if I had to choose one it would be my connection to my lineage as a Black man. As a Black man, I have been able to come after Black men who have literally changed the world and have provided opportunities for me to be here today. Some of the world’s most brilliant innovators have been Black men and my connection to that is so real for me... so, the best thing for me is more about my connection to my past and my future as a Black man.” -Kevin L., Detroit, MI
