This is a rant post. So don’t read it if you don’t want to hear me be pissed off. lol

Okay so I don’t want my followers to feel pressured into buying anything from me but I’m in a really really bad situation right now, like in three weeks I might get evicted if I don’t come up with rent money and I really really don’t want to be homeless again.

Yesterday when I was doing my tarot promo I got SO MANY asks in that span of 3 hours. If everyone I did a one card reading for paid the measly fucking dollar yesterday I would be able to afford my inhaler.

Idk, I just feel like it’s really sucky that people want something from me only if it’s free but they won’t spend a single solitary dollar to help me survive. I feel like it’s really selfish and generally bad karma. I get things are hard for everyone right now but if all my followers gave me just one dollar I’d have enough for rent. I already offer multiple other things for free and all I ask for is if someone wants a one card tarot reading that they spend the dollar so I can maybe eat that day and keep a roof over my head.

If you’re one of my followers who has paid for one and even the ones who help reblog my announcements, this isn’t about you. You guys are awesome. It’s about the people who send me asks saying “I want a reading but only if it’s free”. I get that a lot of other people do free tarot readings here and that’s really nice of them but I think the community in general is at a mindset of that it should be free in the first place and why should they have to pay for that when so many other people don’t charge for it.

What it comes down to is that it’s super nice and gracious of the people who offer free readings but not everyone can. Some people need that money to live and if you appreciate their abilities and the knowledge you can get from a reading you should be willing to pay a small price for it and not act entitled for free things just because. I’m taking time out of my day to devote time and energy solely to you and your question and do my best to provide really nice readings for the people who are willing to just give up the price of a candy bar for it. I take beautiful pictures and send really beautiful emails and put a lot of effort into it.

I just hate feeling like if they were free I’d have 20 asks right now but none of those people value my time enough to pay me a goddamn dollar to help me not be homeless. What does that really say about you?
