I've never really written any fanfiction, but at this time I feel like I should write about the things I love and I love my fandoms, even if I don't feel like a part of them. :T Any tips/advice for a first timer? I don't really know where to start, but the willingness to write is there.

Hi! Fanfic is fun and a great, low pressure way to have fun writing.

There are many ways to get into it or start a story. You can either pick a fandom or find a prompt that appeals to you and fit your fandom into that. The reason I got into fanfic writing was that there weren’t any works about a specific topic available to read, so I decided to write them! With anything you write, write what you would want to read and it’s almost guaranteed that someone else will want to read it too!

Here’s a blog that does specific prompts for fanfic!

Other than, just write. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Fanfiction is supposed to be a fun, so just have a good time with it!
