Nope! But it is intresting. If you haven't already, you should write a paper about that. Alot of cookies actually have shape-shifting abilities but their rarity also makes them a bit of a target.

before the beach scene, the night before they got on the plane, when they played chess, erik thought too loudly about charles lips and charles walked up to him, looked him in the eyes and said "we want the same thing, my friend" and kissed him
and that's why it hurt so much when erik held charles in his arms on the beach, saying "we want the same thing" and charles laughing in pain and saying "i'm sorry my friend, but we do not"
